The
FlexLight platform provides an intelligent solution for connecting
Central Offices (CO) with Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
located in residential and business buildings. FlexLight’s
Optimate system consists of the following main entities:
The
Optical Line Terminal (OLT): Located at the CO, the OLT
interfaces with metropolitan network.
The main functionality
of the OLT is to adapt the incoming traffic (Voice and
Data) from the metropolitan rings into GPON transport
layer.
The Element & Network
Management System
(FlexManage):
FlexManage provisions,
controls, monitors
and operates the PON.
